DISCOVERY OF A NEW FILTER TO REDUCE WATER TURBIDITY 16/02/2012 INVESTIGATIONS ON WATER TREATMENT IN THE DECONTAMINATION OF END OF LIFE VESSELS, REVEAL NEW FINDINGS AS A NEW FILTER TO REDUCE WATER TURBIDITY.
The Water treatment has been slightly modified with a new series of investigations.

One of the changes had to do with the sand filter used to reduce the thickness of the water. The aim was to lower turbidity of the water so the UV sterilizer could act perfectly. To achieve this it was decided to use a carbon filter.

Another progress was the removal of the deposit of homogeneous oxidation of heavy metals, since this was not a major problem in water concentration.

We are currently trying to solve some problems that have arisen in the assembly of deposits. One of the biggest problems we found in the chain of fluids was the bottleneck that was generated when connecting the oil tank to the filter.

Another problem encountered was the section of pipe that we had on the connection between deposits. In Pipes with a larger diameter, sedimentation problems occur, which results in a higher frequency of replacement of pipes and possible damage. The deposit will be directly attached to the filter.

At the exit of the filter we  connect the sterilizer and to this the end tank, where the corresponding analytics will take place as well as the recirculating of water. The recirculating is important so not to leave any sediment in the bottom of the tank.
